Jakob Dylan played a benefit show, Storm Hymnal: A Relief Concert for Hurricane Katrina Victims. The show was at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles. It was originally scheduled for the 16th, but a power outage postponed the show until the next night. Other artists on the bill included Joe Henry, John Doe, Glen Phillips, Grant Lee Phillips and Victoria Williams. Jakob was joined by Fred Eltringham on drums and Jon Brion on guitar. Jakob played:
